Accommodation
During the stay in the ICU, stay of attendants would be arranged in ICU Lounge / R & R lounge on discounted rates.
Sofa cum bed is provided for the accompanying attendant during hospital stay in the patient’s room.
Airport Help Desk
Fortis Airport Help desk at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi is available 24×7 for the patient’s assistance. Help desk staff will coordinate between hospital travel desk and patient to ensure smooth coordination at any given point of time.
Airport pick-up & drop
We arrange complimentary airport pick up/drop in a cab for patient and accompanying attendant to hospital or hotel as per patient’s medical condition or choice. The patient will be received at airport by hospital executive or an interpreter (if needed).
Currency exchange
A currency exchange facility is available inside hospital premises.
Estimated cost of treatment
Once the treatment plan is advised by our specialist, the International Patient Services team will arrange a quotation or an estimated cost of the treatment and a hotel stay.
Meals
Complimentary meals will be provided for the patient and one accompanying attendant during their hospital stay.
Medical opinion
It is advisable that the patient shares the case history, medical reports, details of treatment taken and current clinical status by email before they travel to Fortis for their treatment. Our medical experts will evaluate the reports to plan treatment, expected duration of hospital stay and post discharge follow up mechanism.
Travel desk
The travel desk is available inside the hospital premises. It also helps to fulfill FRRO formalities, accommodation outside hospital, visa extension and arranging local sightseeing.
Visa assistance
The International Patient Services team helps to arrange visa by writing a letter to Indian High Commission in the patient’s country. This helps to obtain the medical visa not only for patient but also for the accompanying attendant.
